Nurse practitioner, Ann von Spiegelfeld is a Lakeland, Florida native. After receiving a BS in Nursing from Valdosta State College in Georgia, she was commissioned into the Air Force where she served as a nurse in the surgical post-op unit and as a member of the Air Transportation Hospital Rapid Deployment Team. Discharged with a medal for meritorious service, Ann worked at the Moffitt Cancer Center for eleven years, while continuing to serve as a flight nurse in the Air Force Reserve. She received her MS in Nursing and her advanced registered Nurse Practitioner’s license from the University of South Florida in 1995 and has since done post-graduate training at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Institute in Houston, Texas. In addition to her work with Dr. Gitomer, Ann does volunteer work with LifePath Hospice of Hillsborough County. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society for nursing. Ann is married to Allen and has two stepchildren, Marcus and Christopher. She is an animal lover and an avid recreational triathlete.

LILLIAM VERA, our office manager, was born in Puerto Rico and is bilingual. She is a graduate of the Inter-American University in Puerto Rico and has worked in the medical field for more than seven years. “I am looking forward to being able to assist you and provide the best possible service for our patients,” she says. Lilliam and husband, Adam, are the proud parents of Sophia.

I am very please to have D. Kobliska join us at Citrus Park GYN. She is an excellent Nurse Practitioner who has a warm personality and a sense of humor. She has a teenage daughter who helps her understand the many difficult issues young women face today.

TAMARA (Tammy) GUTIERREZ received her certification in Medical Assisting from the National School of Technology in Miami. She has worked in OB-GYN offices since 1987. Tammy was born in Atlanta and raised in Miami. She and her husband, Jorge, have two girls, Bri and Kayla. Her personal motto is that “patients deserve to be treated as individuals and with courtesy.”

DR. GITOMER was born in Washington, D.C. and earned a B.S. in Biology from Georgetown University in 1973.He started a junior year abroad program for pre-medical students at Georgetown and spent 1971 at the University of Liverpool with two friends. His selection by fellow residents and teachers as the most compassionate OB-GYN resident at the University of Rochester was the highlight of his 4 years of postgraduate training. Volunteer work is very important and has included working as a physician for 6 months in Israel. Currently, Dr. Gitomer volunteers at the Judeo-Christian Clinic and the Rape Crisis Center.  His professional associations include: American Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Fertility Society, the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, the Hillsborough County Medical Association and the Tampa OB-GYN Society.

Dr. Gitomer has practiced OB-GYN in Tampa since 1982 and started his own GYN practice in September 2002. He met his wife, Deborah, at Georgetown 35years ago and they have two children, Josh and Shira.
